If you forgot to freeze the membership and the customer wants the credit back, in that case, you can buy a relevant package from POS for the customer and set the payment type as complimentary.
Note: Any package which is given as complimentary will not charge a single amount, even if it has a membership feature.
For buy the complimentary package go to POS/ select relevant package/ checkout/ click on the complimentary button.
